Self Enrollment Walk Through Guide

To see what options are available in your area, start by clicking the "View Plan Options in My Area" button below. You then will be redirected to our secure quoting platform, where you will first be prompted to enter your ZIP code. This allows us to display the Medicare plans available in your area.

Step 1: After clicking the "View Plan Options in My Area" button above, you will be redirected to our secure quoting platform. The first screen will prompt you to enter your ZIP code, as shown in the example below.

Step 2: Add Your Doctors (Optional)

On the following screen, you will have the option to enter your preferred doctors. While this step is completely optional, providing your physicians' information allows the system to recommend Medicare plans that are accepted by your doctors. If you do not currently have a primary care physician, do not have a doctor preference, or are open to exploring all available plan options, simply select Skip to continue.

Step 3: (Continued; Optional) Once you've selected a medication, you can review and update important details such as the dosage, quantity, and refill frequency. Providing accurate prescription information helps ensure your plan recommendations include the most accurate prescription drug cost estimates.

Step 3 (Optional): On the following screen (pictured below) you will be prompted to enter the first few letters of each prescription medication you currently take. As you type, our secure quoting platform will automatically search for and display matching medication names for you to select.

Step 4: Selecting Your Preferred Pharmacy (Optional) (Pictured Below)

If you do not have a preferred retail pharmacy, you may instead choose Mail Order if that is your preferred method of receiving prescription medications.

This step is optional but can help provide more accurate prescription cost estimates based on your preferred pharmacy.

Step 5: The next screen will ask you to estimate how often you expect to use your Medicare coverage throughout the year. Simply select the option that best describes your anticipated healthcare usage:

  • Rarely – You generally visit the doctor infrequently and have minimal healthcare needs.

  • Occasionally – You receive routine medical care and visit healthcare providers from time to time.

  • Frequently – You expect to use your Medicare benefits regularly for doctor visits, specialists, treatments, or ongoing medical care.

Your selection helps our advanced quoting platform tailor your plan recommendations by considering not only your expected healthcare usage, but also your preferred doctors, prescription medications, and pharmacy. This allows the system to prioritize plans that best match your overall needs, including plans that may offer lower co-pays or more favorable cost-sharing for individuals who anticipate using their coverage more frequently.

Step 6: This next screen will ask whether you are currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan.

If you select YES you will be prompted to choose your current Medicare Advantage plan from a list of available options.

Once you have completed the previous screens, our secure quoting platform will generate a personalized list of Medicare plans available in your area.

Your results are tailored using the information you provided, including your preferred doctors, prescription medications, preferred pharmacy, and estimated plan usage. Plans that best align with your individual healthcare needs and preferences are typically displayed first, making it easier to identify the options that may provide the greatest overall value.

From this page, you can compare plan benefits, estimated costs, provider networks, and prescription drug coverage to determine which option best fits your needs. If you find a plan you're ready to move forward with, you can securely complete your enrollment online at your convenience.

If you have any questions during the process or would like personalized guidance, our licensed Medicare agents are always available to assist you in selecting the coverage that best meets your needs.

  • If you select NO you will be asked to identify your current type of Medicare coverage by selecting one of the following:

    • Original Medicare (Parts A & B)

    • Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

    • Other

    • I Don't Know

This information helps our quoting platform better understand your current coverage so it can provide the most relevant plan comparisons and recommendations.

Please be aware that entering your information and reviewing available plans does not guarantee eligibility to enroll in a Medicare plan at this time.

If you are using the self-enrollment option the process is typically easiest during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) which occurs each year from October 15 through December 7

If you are currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage (MA) or Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plan, you may also have an opportunity to make changes during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (OEP) from January 1 through March 31

If you are outside of these enrollment periods, you may still qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) based on your individual circumstances. To determine whether you may have an available enrollment opportunity, please contact a licensed Medicare agent today for a personalized eligibility review.
